    Most Desirable LDoN for Bards?

In your opinion, what is the most desirable dungeon to hunt in if you are a Bard... This can be from standpoint of items to be gained or easiest to handle, whatever you want. So far, BB/Mistmoore gets my vote. Rhapsodde Enbleu 59 Troubador

Re: Most Desirable LDoN for Bards?

Miragul's Menagerie (Everfrost Camp) has Call of the Muse! Now, not only can we make melee cry, and nukers cry; we can make DoTers cry, too! Apart from the Muse's divine inspiration, Miragul's also has the Malevolent Dirk of Deception and Club of the Mad Researcher, two very nice, highly augmentable weapons. It also has the Radiant Permafrost augment, a Type 4 aug that adds the Permafrost proc (150dd) to weapons. Also, Takish'hiz (North Ro) has the best LDoN plate armor: Royal Attendant's (equipment slot here) of Sand. Each of the Royal Attendant's pieces has a Type 3 slot (among others), so NRo is the place to go if you're after some VERY nice armor that has slots for those delicious Type 3 augs (such as Vengeance, Regeneration, FT, Instruments, Item Haste, and other "worn" effects). It also has a Regenertion V Type 3 aug (chest slot only) and other very nice augs. Tak also has Fufil's Diminishing Dirge, which is a nice addition to the lineup of any Chant-using bard. So, Mir and Tak are my two favorite locations in terms of items. In terms of zone content, Deepest Guk (South Ro camp) and Rujarkian Hills (East Commonlands camp) are my picks, just because I love froggies and orcs. =)

God help me, if another person asks me to join a MM group.... even though I specifically put "NO MM" in lfg description....you'd think they would take a hint

I have only done MM adventures. Is there a difference between the adventures at each of the camps besides the stuff that is sold at the different camp merchants. For example, is a normal Tak adventure more difficult than a normal MM adventure?

My vote is for Tak... The Plate armour that you can buy is comparable to the elemental planes armour.

Re: Most Desirable LDoN for Bards?

Is there a list of instrument augments available by dungeon? I know the Rjukian(sp?) hills has some but what about the others?

The answer can be found in this thread, Tin. http://www.dotnetdiva.com/Forums/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=12673 Sorry, I don't know how to make that a hotlink.

Does anyone know if these increase the modifier to our instruments or if these are better served on a weapon or such?

They act as instrument, they do not increase the mod of your instruments. Sinfonian

Re: Most Desirable LDoN for Bards?

I second the Everfrost camp/North Ro with a couple exeptions the augments can be found to add to the armor at any camp, or indeed other items. If that's what you want, you may want to eventually at least get half or all of your max points at each camp. Depends on if you just want armor or the best LDON gear in all categories. Not to run Paeros down or anything, but I consider LDON with ALL augments to be a step between the Ornate and the Elemental/Time gear. It's not really comparable. In my opinion LDON is what you go for if you do not expect your guild (or you personally) to get the "Real Gear" anytime soon. Or you can get it as backup/interim gear.
