The way I get to the Scale Keeper in the pit is falling down in to The Hole as you zone type /q or /ex to exit out of the game just before you hit the ground. As you log on you will cont. to fall from where you were and only sustain the amount of dmg from where you logged off at. I think best and fastest way of getting this this guy and not spending your time fighting threw in the zone with a group. if you got no gaters or tp'ers with you just carry a gate potion with you =). I think this is the fastest way of getting to him with a group much quicker.

Think a 65 paladin 50 bard and 65 shaman could solo the Echo guys~?

Sorry for my ignorance, but is it not possible to levitate down instead of just falling? I never did this, so I'm just asking. :p

Lev does not work in the Hole. You lev down... you zone... you DROP. hehe Wish I could try and buy... I looked ONCE on Stromm. White Scales... 100k....

It works fine. We went to hit Guardian of the Seal, who's down in the same area last week. I just stood at the edge of the pit, and invited 5 people at a time, letting them hop off. The 3-min only recast on Invuln makes it quite handy, compared to 15 mins for the Cleric version (I assume the Pally is the same, dunno about Necro). At the end, I even invited a few who could DA themselves since they were still sitting there waiting for their spell to pop up. Got the whole raid down there in 15 minutes.

I haven't taken the direct route thru to Nortlav nor have I fought him yet, but I do have some sound suggestions that should also work. Alternate method to get your raid to Nortlav: Tank, Healer, mage get DA'd and drop into pit. Pick lock the door via the safer ent into the Hole and have the Mage then CotH the rest of the raid force down. Suggestion to counteract the lifetap proc: Similar as is done on VS. Have a couple of chanters keep chain runing the main tank while the rest annihilate Nortlav. If I remember correctly different runes stack and they absorb the lifetap without healing the mob. Results may vary. I just figured these ideas should work so I posted. *shrug Good luck on your red scale and epic!!

we have done the drop into the hole a few times for the guardian of the seal, he drops a nice earring. if nortlav is up we smack him too. it is possible to live if you manage to jump into the water.. *lol* we have all the people down the bottom rating everyone's dives as they crash to their death to be clicky rezzed :D

ok, just tried him with three groups, SK as MT. This guy procs Life Tap like CRAZY like atleast 5 times every 10 seconds. Wiped 4 times. Dont try this unless you have alot of melee and alot of clerics for chain healing. Oh, you cant chant kite him either cuz he summons lol, found that out the hard way.

If the Guardian of the Seal is up, will he aggro on you when you drop into the pit? Will he aggro when you fight Echo? Thanks!

Just one question, can a ranger at the entrance of the hole be able to track Echo?

Just tracked him a few minutes ago. He's trackable before that little cliff jumpoff a little bit inside from zone in.

I heard that naggy doesn't have a lot of HP. if its true pay or have 2wizzy with Mana Burn. yeah they are lvl 65 and they will get ported out as soon as they will get the aggro. have those 2 casting Mana Burn at same time I heard it is working. Well if he has the low HP pool poeple say it will work for sure. I didn't tryed it myself I prefer to buy it from bazaar kinda easier
