Wow, you kind of had some bad luck. When I did mine, he popped with in 5 mins. Glad you got it though, very useful item to have.

I didn't scroll through all the posts, but from spending a few hours there tonight getting xp, here's my biggest piece of information: they DO NOT CAST snare.... they PROC it. It is basically unresistable at lvl 57. I tried with ToT, druid magic resist, and purifying rythems with my TDoK totalling about 260SV magic poision and disease... still got snared and killed every time I wasn't careful and ran too close to the swarm. It's an easy place to practice charm kiting, but holy hell is it frustrating when you're doing fine and then WHAM snare... gate hammer doesn't proc and you're back to zero mana after a rez and waiting and hour with FT2 to get your mana back.

OMG! Finally got it to drop! Only took 1.5 levels and 26 rez/SoEs but I got it! I have everything to a science in there, but there's nothing I can do if I"m hit and the snare sticks for longer than a few seconds. If the mobs catch up they will chain snare you until you're LOADING PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE. Thank you so much for the guide. I did it somewhat differently, but it is still awesome. Somehow when I chanted at Katcha he came with only 3 other mobs. I tried training them out, but they were so slow I just charmed K dog and sicked him on the other two. I got snared trying to run by, clicked a potion, and lived to see my beloved drop... thank you SO MUCH.

Fantastic guide. I got Katcha on the third spawn, literally the third mob. Was a challenge to get him so soon (was unprepared) but I nailed him and am now wearing my tiny cloak. Thanks!! 

 I dont know if its a quick fix or if I am doing it wrong but; everytime I attack one of the callers to get aggro, the fiends that spawn attack him no matter what.  However, the other preists and whatnot do not attack the caller.

Edit: Err nevermind.  All I had to do, to fix it, was stand in range of the Caller.

Thanks for the info.  I haven't tried it for a while, as the last few times I tried it with 3 callers every one of them was getting attacked.  It worked for me in the past, but the past two times, the callers kept getting aggro.  Next time I'll have to try standing within range.
