Gear Advice for new Member

Greetings fellow minstrels, I've been reading these boards for a while and finally registered and making my first post. I'd like some advice as to what to look for next as of the way of better gear as my guild and myself approach the end game. My guild is just fully elemental and broaching new territory and not sure where to look next. I was awarded a shiny new Soul Essence of Aten Ha Ra to hand in for my new neck Talisman of Vah Kerrath and am exstatic. My next step is clouded as to where to consider upgrading. Any and all input would be appreciated. Aeryl Wyrmsinger http://www.magelo.com/eq_view_profile.html?num=495270 (Moved from Levels 61-65 by Velvett on 2-4-04 @ 12:40pm)

Can you say complete ENVY :lol ok.. suggest.. give me all your gear to me :) well... elemental gear is great gear I heard.. any of the Rizolin gear is an upgrade.. mmm ok in order of upgrades... shoulders (draconic pauldrons are fine, but if your in elemental I'm pretty sure there's better that drop there. for that matter you can look into getting mantal of the rainmaker which drops off of BOT tower bosses.) Rings.... both are nice.. but again.. possibly nicers ones out there in elemental. hmm Helm... Crown of the Itraer Vius nice as well.. but see above :lol no idea what else to comment on :) your way beyond my equipment.. :)

so im looking at the gear and the helm and the shoulders both stand out as a possible upgrade Helm: riz is nice due to farune but relistically anything w/ Hps im using a Custom Cowl of Moraltiy so i cant really comment Shoulders: Mantle of the Rainkeeper is nice, as is the Flowing Mossmantle on a off note, I would go for upgradeing the Barb mask to a Ablone Tribal mask so you can ditch the staff of anguish your using main hand and look into getting a Stone Etched Mallet, usually goes to rogues first then war/ though bards seem to get it pretty often, the rune 2 makes it really nice, then some time in the furture look into droping the boots for a EP set for the percussion mod, and but a String Mod from LDoN, since you have the horn in your range you can skip the mephit tallon and try for ifir once all the rogues in your guild has one your gear it nice, keep it up

Look no further than where your guild is, lol. If you are in the EPs heading for Time, the best gear you can get is right there (VT has some decent drops too if your guild is keyed, and judging by your one bracer I'd say you are). I would just concentrate on raiding heavy with your guild and earning those raid points to buy some new upgrades in the EPs or Time.

Your wishlist is probably similar to mine. Rune Stamped Blade (or Rizlona's Vamb) Abalone Mask Reinforced Mephit Talon Rizlona's Boots Sharkbone Shouderpads Basically anything with an instrument mod... except for the elemental instruments, of course. Don't hold your breath on elemental molds as guilds usually gear up their warriors first. If your guild is new to elementals, you'll prolly have to wait a few months before molds start to trickle down to bards. Other than that, your gear is top notch. Nice balanced resists, excellent AC and darn near perfect stats (with raid buffs). My only suggestion would be to pound out some AAs.

Have to agree with effie about the AAs. You aren't getting the most of your equipment you have when raid buffed. I don't know where you are currently in AAs, but your gear is at the point where Planar Power would be a very sound investment. Kaelwyse
