Hard ldon

Hey Guys. I did my first hard ldon last night. The begining half of the adventure lull was sticking most of the time, with one or two resists, had my cha at 239 so they didn't argo me. As we got passed the half way point (in the dungeon) not the adventure, lull would not stick at all. Most of the mobs where yellow or even to me at lvl 64. Good thing for FM or I would have died more than the 6 deaths I had already. We completed the mission with 4mins remaining. Was a great time just kinda fustrating that I couldn't do my job fully. Would just like to know if bringing a monk would have been a better way to split the mobs up. Jlow Beats 64 Torvonnilous Bard Salany Rosethorn 65 Torvonnilous Druid

    Re: Hard ldon

I have done a couple of hard adventures and succeeded. But I would rather do normal ones....the reason.... Every hard one I have done has taken very nearly the full 90 mins. I can do two normal ones in that time for more exp and more wins towards stone upgrade. The points you get for two normal very nearly equals one hard, (51 each for normal, 105 for hard), with very little chance of failing (not failed a normal in the last 50 or so dungeons). Just my thoughts

Try to get a CHA buff before you start, it works great for me. Also don't be afraid to pull 2 and mezz one, just be carefull not to pull too many. It can take too long if you try to always get singles. I did a hard adventure in less then an hour, getting much better xp and... :D I got my Vampire's Lute of Bone :D Muse Famka Order of the Righteous Bristlebane

CHA won't help lull land - it will just help avoid agro on a resist. I generally run with about 250 CHA in dungeons. In LDON hard, 60-80% resist rate on lull is normal. I use mez and fade to pull rooms with more than 2 mobs. Most of the time I bring 2 and mez one.

The advantage to doing say, one hard adventures as opposed to two easy ones is that nice loot drops in the hard adventures. Otherwise, I would agree, 2 x easy is better odds than 1 x hard.

    Re: Hard ldon

I try to avoid using Lull if I can help it in Hard LDoN. I've found that with high enough CHA it can get the job done when I really need it, though. What I like to do instead is just pull with Mez. Then I Mez others as I run backwards back to my group. I can usually get to camp with only one mob this way, with one or two "planned adds" that I'll reMez as they arrive. I don't usually Fade unless I've got more than three on me in any given pull. Which is a rare thing. Been meaning to try Highsun out. If it's not resisted too bad, I'll probably end up gating off adds and Fading as an alternative to Mezzing "planned adds".
