Sinfonian said: "useless pick lock skill (still erks me that I can't pick LDoN chests" You can't? Is your skill not maxed or it's just above bard cap pick locks skill? Asking because I don't have a problem picking locks for ldon (but then again i have the tinkered lock picks which add a percent and some gloves from ME which add more of a percent. those might help you).

    Re: Intimidation?

I found a new use for it. Me and 3 guild bards were waiting click down to CoDB to do Bertox last night. You can line 3 bards up side by side, have them hit Intimidate at the same time and Viola!! Boy Band.
That's just wrong Sapper. . . wrong in every way. As if Manudo (sp), New Kids, Hansens, and NSynch (any others I'll try and forget) weren't enough torture.

    Re: Intimidation?

Worthless... If you are going to fear kite... just use fear. Though fear kiting is only good for like 6 level then charm kiting takes over. Charm kiting will last you for about 30 levels then DoT kiting become a better option. The DPS with fear kiting is not all taht good. The only time I would say go for it is if you are in a all dps group with someone that can snare. Then it can be fun. Assuming it doesn't drive everyone nuts first.

    Re: Intimidation?

For fear kiting, Intimidation is great! For the hot key that I used for singing the level 26 fear song (Appalling Screech), I added a /doability 4 (or whatever.. the Intimidation skill). Sometimes screech would be resisted, but intimidation would stick, and vice versa, of course. So it made fear kiting more reliable and less likely for the mob to turn on me and do damage. So, I'd twist haste, slow/snare, and fear, throwing in hp regen in now and then. Of course, this was before I learned how to swarm and AE kite. But still, fear kiting can be useful in some places.

    Re: Intimidation?

My skill on my 35 Bard is something like 37. I know of one instance which it worked so i am diligently working on it. I was teamed with a Cleric hunting Giants in FM and I had Intimidation on a Hotkey and I had been hitting it when the song-snared giant turned and ran at 50% health. After it was dead I asked the Cleric if she'd feared it and she said she didn't have that spell memmed! But ll other results have been "your not scaring anyone" :) -Sarge
