Um, according to this site, the orb is recommeded levle 63, so it sucks for you at 35. I would go with a Centi LS off hand or better if you can get it. Main hand there are good 1hbs out there for free, like one that normally rots in ME right off of DSP. Sorry it's been a while for me, but make sure you work on 1hs, 1hb and piercing equally. you mean the delightful orb of forgotten magic? think the proc kicks in at level 37 - nice occasional 320dd even if the stats will be a bit crummy at your level. To be honest youll probably get more use twinning a troubadours mace and a battle drummers main gauche, at least until your a higher level.

Just so everyone knows recommened on weapons is meaningless.. Even though the damage is shown in red as a lesser number it still hits for the full damage.. You put the DOoFM in a level 1 toons hands and he will hit like it's a 19/30 not a 1/30.. P.S. The stats on the weapon will still suck cause of level but the damage doesn't.. Just wanted to clear that up.. :D

The Delightful Orb of Forgotten Magic is primary only so the discussion of whether or not it would make a nice off-hand weapon is totally moot. Sure, it would make a great off-haner if they would let you equip it there, but you can't. And as a main hander, the proc is sweet, but the speed stinks. Copper Hammer of Striking is a LOT more total DPS in primary.

Coming soon to a patch near you... Recommended ratios on weapons "fixed" ASAP. Rest assured the way it is now is NOT working as intended... :lol Sinfonian

Aye over all it is a good stat wep, after they get the stats going, but since the proc lvl has been raised its a tad bit not that good of a wep

I used the wristsnapper to get my 1hb up as it is quite a fast weapon. The stats are nothing to bragg about, but was going for the max amount of swing. Throw in Katta in the song mix, and it goes pretty fasy. Tulamien Forestsong

This was nerfed a while back, just after the release of GoD. My Berserker at level 30 hitting for 100+ was not happy when his WMBS was only hitting for 40-50 again :(

Proc for the orb is lvl 55. I was going to buy one for my beastlord until I noticed it was primary only.

Um, I'm 65 and am still dual-wielding The Battle Drummer's Main Gauche and Troubador's Mace. Nice Mod's for someone who does not have an epic yet. Forget procs and what not, you can augment those in. Your contribution is not DPS by your own hand, my friend, it is by what songs and modifications thereof you can bring to the party. The more gasoline you can pour on the fire, the faster it'll burn. Rock on! Wila.
