I have been researching getting Spirit Wracked Cords for some time now, and I read on Allah's that they are/were/might be still dropped by the "Grand Lorekeeper" (name escapes me atm) in Chardok as an extremely rare drop. Does anybody have any new and confirmed information on this? I know the quest is still valid, but I haven't seen any recent posting that states the cords still/ever dropped in Chardok in the royals area.

as far as I can recall, the Lorekeeper no longer drops the cords. This was removed sometime ago, if it even was in the game. I know that shortly after I started 2 years ago, there was some discussion regarding the cords. As a necro, I know that if the Grand Lorekeeper did drop them, almost every necro would have killed him by now as the faction to complete this quest is a PITA. I myself as a necro, just got to amiable, after months of hard work. Not certain my bard will suffer the same pain as there are other items easier to get with hps. hope that helps.
