How long it take you to get this item? I was down there for about 5 hours not one named spawned in spot. Have double checked a bunch of times I was in the right place.

Could a lvl 68 Ranger solo this?

Anyone done this lately? I've camped there 3 times over the last week about 3-4 hours each time. I have yet to see any named pop in the room with the 5 spawns. Thanks

Well after 6 or 7 visits for at least 2 hours each time we finally got a named to spawn. Unfortunately it was Rowwek Icepaw and not the wanted Khelkar Icepaw. The big question is am I in the right spot? According to the text map I am.

Killing all the mobs in the room seems to be a requirement nowadays. Spent maybe 10 hours killing the ph single with 1 named spawn total (khelkar, didn't keep track of other nameds. After clearing the whole room, getting one spawn every one or two hours or so. For fighting the trash, Zuriki's is pretty handy and makes multiple pulls better dps than single pulling (as long as you can outregen the damage). Charm is awesome; you can fight the entire room by having a charm pet offtank 3 and meleeing one mob to death, etc. Note that only an icepaw prophet chs, not a cleric, priest, etc. The others seem to have some kind of weak spot heal that's not worth interrupting. Phs tent to have a capitol letter eg. an icepaw Prophet, an icepaw Champion. One additional named poped in the room south of the intial dropin, he dropped a really terrible no drop bow. Random nameds are pretty easy, just fight them single, charm a single add, or fade off multiple adds. None of them seem to ch, a few have a spot heal that they chain cast. Not much to do there except hit them on the back while they heal. d I wouldn't recommend charming a tank and sending him to go get healed, the simplest method is to pull the named along with an icepaw prophet. Melee as usual; the prophet will ch you up to two times when you get low, making it much easier; if charm breaks you should mez before recharming, they continue to cast ch even after charm and it will land. Don't fight on the dispel trap; you will lose the slow and charm pet and will either fade repeatedly or die. Landing slow is pretty hard with straight up ROT, he resists like an rs mob even. Zurikis, with a -30 check, still gets resisted 1/2 to 2/3 of the time, so you need to hos + slow or send in the suicide slower pet. He can be melee soloed when slowed, but you'll need puretone or a good stringed mod, swapped or worn. Otherwise, you need to use the charm pet or burn dance of blades with some post ele weapons. No Lute of the Howler yet, but I did get a bunch of tribute/bazaar junk. Maybe it's because I'm a Vah Shir...

Finally got it! Unfortunately, the illusion does not stack with the ranger line "Howl of the Predator" and you can't cast the illusion if you have the ranger buff. It's still very handy in groups without a ranger, when soloing, and just to look cool.
