Okay, silly question, but how does one get the CS key? I've heard a number of folks saying that CS is a great place for the solo bard, but the key quest confuses me, since it seems to involve a turn-in to Wenglawks in Kael--who will assist if the other giants aggro. But perhaps I'm *COMPLETELY* not understanding this... Suggestions? :Fluellen Cadwaladr:

CS (Cobalt Scar) no longer requires a key. Just get a druid or wizzie to port ya in and you're all set. Just make sure you are non-kos to CoV (Claws of Veeshan) faction or all the wyverns etc will aggro on you (only 1 mob in zone can see thru bard invis btw). When you port in, target and con a wyvern of any kind and you'll find out. If you are KoS leave and get CoV faction to at least dubious or prepare for a lot of cr's. I am dubious to CoV and all it took was killing/kiting Giants in GD for about 15 hours. The dwarves in Thurg now love me too (not quite ally there but pretty close). Also, Kael raids are a good way to raise CoV faction. This will also help later if you want to fight in HoT in ToV or do any Thurgadin (Coldain faction) or Skyshrine (CoV faction) armor quests. There used to be 2 ways to get your shrine key. The "proper" way was to perform a quest given by one of the entrance gaurds. There was a named drake (name escapes me) that would provide the key. This required the time to build faction and a possible horrible encounter with a turn-in in kael you had to do. The second common method was to kill the named drake (very low level, soloable in 40's) and he dropped the key everytime. But since PoP skyshrine has changed drastically. I recently went to go kill mob for all my chars on second account and he was not where he should have been and i had no idea where the quest is now. Keep checking alla's for info on new Skyshrine, perhaps the key to CS has even been done away with, i dont know as i have not taken a character across who did not have.
