    Re: trail of execution

A flag is marker showing your ability to zone into a higher level plane. Everyone 46+ is automatically flagged to zone into tier 1 zones. From there you must perform some quest or kill a boss mob to be able to move up into higher tier planes. I am not clear if the flag itself is an item or if it is a virtual thing that happens once you assist in killing a high level mob. From the trials you recieve a mark of something which will let you zone into the next tier being the plane of storms.

So without the mark you cant zone in? Is it like a key thing? Looks like I am not going to PoV until 65 when I get a gosh darn guild. Hehe, looking for a guild is a lot harder than I though it would be :p

also... Once you have access to PoS do you have to do another quest to open access to PoV? I looked at the FoH private forums thing in one of the PoP discusions, but it didnt make any sense.

Are all of the mobs in the Trial of Execution charmable? If so, which? What about mobs that are mezzable? Thanks.

    Re: trail of execution

Only the non-rock mobs (A Dark Nemesis) are charmable/mezzable. But ya'll failed if ya r trying to charm one, coz ya/ur group have about 30sec to kill on each mob average, otherwise the prisoner will be killed. P.S. When I was doing the trial, I was on CC with just mezzing Dark Nemesis. Also it surprised me that only Dark Nemesis popped for all waves at the trial I passed, that made me very busy on targetting mobs...

    Re: trail of execution

I can charm everything in the Trial but the Boss. The rock mobs cannot be mezed. Charming a mob works great actually huge DPS increase. Just be sure to have people assist you when it's time to change mobs and to break your charm when the mob your killing is around 10% left so the group can switch to your pet.

    Re: trail of execution

Melody of Mischeif is huge for Exe trial for us. I have been working on getting Guildies flagged, what seems to work the best for DPS is to have me Mischeif, Denons Bereavement, and Warsong of Zek. I also drink a Shaman DS potion and make sure I have Mag or Druid in group. Basically through each wave I tank three mobs while MT tanks one. The DS on me reaches near 100 and so while the first one is dying the others are also being damaged. Thus they are able to be killed faster since they are 30 to 40 percent dead. Im not the worlds best tank :) Full buffed for trial I hit 5k with 1300 Ac. We have no taunt, so its important that we keep Agro off cleric. AE slow gives us some, Bereave does the rest. Twisting both non stop the cleric wont pull heal agro. I think Exe trial much better set up for us bards then chanters.

    Re: trail of execution

Boy, so many good ideas for when I get there. I hope not to take over 10 tries to do it when I hit 60 or so. Only problem is trying to see which method works best. I love them all. As for Maddux, WOW you have 5k hp at 65 fully buffed? I think the absolute best I can hit is early 3k fully buffed as my base is just about 1500 at 54. This trial sounds fast paced and fun. Can't wait to try it. Sinfonian
