can i charm the skelly, and the my friend war (using DE illusion) give the jade to skelly and then he gets hammer?

if i remember correctly , then the answer is NO =( you need higher faction than indif. when you charm the mob it counts as a pet and thus is indif to other ppl. only option for him beside factoinwork are puppetstrings i think ? (charged items with charmspell from fear?)

Ornate Velium Pendant drops in Icewell Keep off the councilors. It has 4 charges of Alliance, which raises your faction by 100 with your target. Might help if you're tired of farming whips.

should work exactly like you described it. Charm the skelly, let the other person give gem and he should receive hammer. At least for me it worked like that back in time...

Good luck with that. I tried to do this with my buddy who is a barbie warrior / tribunal religon i believe. Anyway, at lvl 65 and 185 CHA I was only able to keep the undead foreman charmed with CotB for a max of 15 seconds. This was after hitting him with HoS. His MR is very high and after many attempts was finally able to get charm to stick more than 10 seconds. Barbie was still unable to get hammer quest. the allience neck activated AFter the charm may work but w/o any faction modifier, pet faction was not high enough.

Don't know if any1 else has seen this. EVERY time I use hammer, as I am running between the boat and the nearest exit. I have somehow always managed to aggro some Dragoons from a different part of the Outpost. Selos= no problem, but for someome without it... they might run into trouble.

I always take the water route and have seen lots of others do the same. Just run to the end of the wall and the PoK book is right there.

yeah I must say levi before you gate then run over water, sow has no trouble outdistancing the skelly's.

i always just use fade after i'm away from skeletons. the rest of the stuff doesnt see invis

Bombom, the answer is no as far as doing a turn in for other people. This method will work for yourself however.

The dracoliche in Fear drops an item with like 10 charges of right clickable charm. I can't remember exactly what it's called but it works for anyone. Just pull the foreman off to the wall, debuff and let them charm him. The charm only needs to last a few seconds. I wouldn't waste the charges trying to do this with someone who was too low in level by the way because the charm would probably get resisted too much. The item isn't NO DROP so you can get your guildies or friends together and get hammers until the charges run out. Sorry I couldn't link the item but I'm limited to what I can access from where I'm posting. EDIT: Bah, puppet strings, like Thorian said above :D

well.. i got the hammer when i was lvl 51 .. i went there by myself, ran around and charmed the skelly.. then quickly gave the gem to it.. received the hammer and escaped to PoK... yup.. charm the skelly, give the jade to skelly and your friend should get it.. have fun..

Nope don't work. Faction MUST be better than indif to get the hammer. Only ways for non-charming classes to get it are farming faction, or puppet strings. Dark Elf Illusion, and the faction item from Icewell might work too depending on deity. I'll go farm one of the faction increasing items from Icewell tonight with my Ranger, grab a DE illusion item, and see how it works. Will post results if I can get the item I need. Anyone on Karana wanna help my Ranger get Dains head? he he.
