    Anyone play SWG?

Hi all, I just finished my 14 day trail of SWG and Im in 2 minds if it is worth buying. My first impression was WOW! I couldn't believe the amount of detail and "life" the game has. I blasted through the starter missions but then felt as if I had been dumped by my friendly R2 helper when they finished. I started up the Marksman and Brawler trees, but it felt like a real grind just constantly doing missions to work up the xp for the next skill box. Also, I hear of people having great amounts of money, yet I found it very hard to get enough for even a crappy set of armor :( The community seems friendly enough, but unless I can see a way past the constant skill grinding i really dont see much else in the game... PS. The "Jump to Lightspeed" expansion looks very cool! :)

Want to get rich in SWG? Become a weaponsmith, and do it well. Resources are your key here. Put the time and effort into finding good ones, and keep obsessive anal-level track of them on an Excel spreadsheet. You won't see a return for a while, but in 3 or 4 months of doing this you'll find that you're starting to make the best weapons on the server, ones that people pay a LOT for. Set yourself up with a merchant and get listed on the global map, and by all means advertise through whatever means possible. I did this and in 7 or 8 months' time I was making at least a million credits a month, easily. Had I spent more time on it I could have been making a million a week, I'm sure. The problem of course is that this gets old after a while. Eventually I quit and came back to my bard in EQ. :)

that and someone found a way to dupe cash on that game and is tipping his duped cash to anyone he can and from what I understand you can't block tipped cash and the bad part is you can be banned for having duped cash regardless how you attained it or even if you had knowledge it was dubed. Basicly after awhile there were so many accounts being banned from something the people who played legally couldn't controll there was a protest on that server, all they did to end the protest was shut down the server itself.
