    You must have the orb to get certain quest pieces / loot pieces like crest and metela note etc. From what i understand.

    I tried my DN fight for the first time tonight. It went spectacularly.... awful. I had a light crew of 2 groups, but tons of healing, so was planning on rooting the zombies. The bard before me had left the tunnel mobs up. Btw, these appear to be unlullable, unmezzable, and without trying many options, all appear to come in one big clump. My meager group of 12 people including 1 warrior wasn't gonna try so we invised past them, cleared the room, and I did my hand in. Well.... the bad news is that when all the mobs spawned, some or all of the tunnel mobs, which may have included the 2nd set of adds that just spawned all charged the raid in addition to the zombies and the named. Learning experience.... be sure to clear the tunnel mobs before you try this. If your force cannot clear them, then come back another time! Several hours later, I have a new set of bones and ready to try again!

    Papa, i presume u are talking about the 1st fight at Hagra's Shade, if so, if there are any mobs in the tunnel, invis up and walk thru so u all stood near Shade, they WILL NOT aggro u if u invis and stay away. So iirc u are stood on the west wall, facing east, or other way around, either way, u need to be stood near shade, now kill all the rat mobs in the room, STAY away from the tunnel guys. Ok, this is how u win, for a start u need snare/root classes for this, as u face Shade so u look at him, go to his left side to do handin and talk, why cos the 3 zombies and named pop towards the right hand side. Pop the mobs, get snare and root classes to snare and root the zombies, while u get your tank to aggro named and pull to main force, once u got adds under control then unless something goes totally tits up, u have a win here, at 20%ish the named will depop and pop the dragon mob, kill kill kill and loot, now iirc, and was told when we did mine altho we killed, the zombies, once the names are dead won't bother u. Now this is important, INVIS UP and move passed the mobs in the tunnel, they will aggro u if u not INVIS. Thats it, round 1 done, go handin the bone to Lantric, and head back. To find if u are popin the Big Fight, head to where Tarn spawns, further down towards the shade is a ramp, left hand side as u go down, thats where the last fight pops. Hope this helps Papa, and others too, key to the shade fight, and i have done 3 times, is snare and root adds.     Just a thought about skipping portions and MQ on this. It's pretty much proven you can't skip DN part but to streamline this for a guild couldn't you just do the DN part for one bard and then spawn the cloaked figure multiple times for the note to metala?

    The part where you say "Adds, Leave Alone" is what bit us in the butt. We did what you said, invised past them, cleared the room of trash, and started the event. When the zombies and named charged us, SO DID THE TUNNEL ADDS! There was even some script, indicating that the named was being assisted by the mercenary guards. Sorry, I didn't have logging on so can't paste it here. I can only assume that either a) the event has changed because people were skipping the tunnel mobs, making the event too trivial or b) you must clear the area from previous bard events.

    Thats intresting, cos never have the zombies or named or adds in the tunnel charged any raid party i have been with. On my event, i had to HoS the named to get the mobs inc, now i did the handin to the left of Shade as u look at him, then moved straight back to my raid party, where we looked at the Zombies and Named for a good 10 secs before i HoSed and brought the 4 mobs to the raid. So judging by your comments, either a) they have changed the script via a ninja patch, b) somehow u was too close to the adds and something unforseen happened. I will stress that we did this event with mobs already up in the tunnel, invis in and setup camp where i marked, no one moved far from that spot, so i guess that could be a key factor, but as i wasn't on your encounter Papa, i am only speculating here. Sorry yours when bad, i feel bad now, as the info i shared seems no good now 8(((((

    DN is a part of 1.5. In the final 1.5 battle, the dialog refers to the orb that you get at the conclusion of the DN segment. So clearly SOE intends the DN fights to be part of gaining 1.5. I agree that the story that connects our epic at this stage is rather disjoint BUT then 1.5 is not the end of the epic. The connection of the orb to the lore of our epics may be clearer over time. I am a level 65 in a small family guild and am not elemental key'd but I full intend to earn my 1.5 epic. I will call in old favors, beg, and plead; and I will do the fights necessary. And though it may take several months, in the end when I have my 1.5, I will be proud of what i was able to accomplished. Trump

    Maybe I waited too long before pulling, but like I said, we only had 2 groups and I was trying to give folks pre-targets to avoid deaths/failure. Yeah, that worked out REAL well for me!

    :mad: Well... got 24 of my guildies together (I don't believe in taking chances), cleared to the 3rd building to the right from zone in, got 'a bruised woman', turned in the necklace and got...'I will not help the likes of you'... ate my necklace and didn't trigger the event. /rude SOE And yes, I did the DN part, and obviously the prism parts / dragon parts / thief part in Kith. And yes, I did all my hails and the combine for the Draconic Prism. Dejected Performer from Bristlebane server. Cypris Edge p.s. who else wants to rip SOE a new one for the "Performer" name for lvl 70 bards?

    From what I've read, it's a known bug. You have to be behind her and in Sneak mode (she'll con indifferent if it worked, I believe) to do the turn-in.

    Fight 2 takes place just north of the building Tarm spawns in. It didn't pop for me until I got within visual range of the area, then it spawned. We set up on the west wall, facing Vasthon's back. We didn't win after 3 tries, so I gave up on this quest until my guild gets very bored some night.

    does anyone know if you can kill the for dragons for the crystals before you do the DN part? I heard somthing about not being able to loot quest items for epic unless you are to the part of that in the epic, any one know for sure?
