yeah you can solo them, but they have a ton of HP's and due to there size it makes it hard to judge distance from them. They proc a 500 or so damage effect often so getting hit will prob be the death of you.

These CAN be solo'd relatively easy if you know what your doing - if you remember back in the day when luclin / velius models all looked like short little humans this is the trick - make that happen again on ur comp in velius (install something in the wrong place i believe dont remember exactly) then u can judge distance relatively easy - problem is these bastards take 20 minutes to kite for a 65th bard with all highest lvl dots and DotB. Hp = CRAZY, i killed 10 i believe and got silks to drop once and only got two. THANK GOD the tailorer didnt fail the cap combine. My chanters a happy twink ;) But generally dont kite these - crap exp AND u can buy the silks for 800pish (quellious price) each in bazaar. be easier to go do a stalker run for 2 hours get 2 to 3k and still have cash left over compared to these things

I don't understand why you all make it sound soo tough. Here is an easy to follow step by step way to kite them as long as you aren't KoS to ToV... Song lineup... DoT DoT DoT Charm Selos NA NA NA Find an animal (Hound, Bronto or Mastodon. Doesn't matter) for a pet and have charm ready but don't use it yet. Agro an animal and drag it to a Burrower. Make sure of course that you have Selos on at all times. Give yourself a pump of selos then start Doting the Burrower and run it in a circle and keep the DoTs hitting. Weather or not they land doesn't matter because you are just working on getting agro as high as you can. Easiest way to be sure you are out of the Burrowers range is to be just barely inside your DoT's range. Err on the side of caution and don't worry about being too far away once in a while. When your Selos begins to drop repump it and charm the animal and send it in to attack the Burrower. Continue circling and keep up your DoTs and selos and make sure your pet never gets agroed or the 500DD proc will also dispell your charm. If you do this right the burrower will never even touch your pet and will die in under 15 min from first engagement of it. Just have the pet "Tab Targeted" for recharms and you're gtg. Even at 64 these Burrowers give me a full blue of AA per kill and the silks are a gold mine for broke Bards. When the Kite is done you can always kill the animal and hope for a fur from it as well. If you have a Monk as an alt or twink get him or her over to WW and camped nearby because the Burrowers can occationally drop a sweet nodrop BP for them. Tamb 64 Bard of Lanys

    Re: Ice Borrowers in WW

This is the method i use to farm out the Burrower Silks. My first attempts i used velium hounds only for the shear amount of damage they do fast. The problem with them is how frequent they break charm early. I very much enjoy using the brontos as pets, they hit slower, but do larger hits per round. They are a slow running mob but have little to no trouble keeping up with burrowers are long as your cirlce is tight. And bet of all they rarely break charm early. The only slow part of killing a burrower is the initial 20% damage you need to do before you send in your pet. The burrowers hit hard fast, the dispell is ugly and they will eat a pet FAST if the pet gets aggro and isnt dispelled right away. And yes camp a monk, luckily my monk is on a diff account so i leave her FD'd in the middle of my kite path for some easy exp. The first time i killed a burrower it dropped the bp, but my monk was no where near. Now that i bring my monk the bp has yet to drop again, what luck.
