The kirins do the stun, and it's single target, not the statues and not AE.

The statues do an AE stun as well. Something about being struck by a mighty kick. I've seen it happen many times.

Yeah, the statues definitely (at least occasionally) do an AE Stun. I've brought them back to the group before and I've heard my group exclaim, "WTF?", whilst I (at the exact same time) have had my songs completely interrupted and occasionally do the stun-spin thing. It's AE because it happens to several (if not all) of us at the same time. That's a good trick with the buff timer to time server tick. I think I've heard of that before, I just forgot. The way I was doing it with song pulse is probably closer to (or exactly like) client tick more than it is server tick. I'll try that out and see how it goes. :)

Yea, I used to go by song tick till a friend told me the buff timer thing. I think its cause songs are only 4 second cast while server ticks are 6 seconds. So you're prolly heading in about 2 seconds before server tick, which is making a big difference.

With a little practice in watching the server ticks and knowing song cast time (counting in my head one one thousand, two one thousand three one thousand, FOUR) you can land a mez on a dotted mob, in such a way so that the mez always continues to land a split second after the server tick causes it to take damage from a DoT. not a perfect mez, but at least it lets us be in control of how dangerous the mob is (.5 seconds angry, the rest of the time blissfully mezzed)

Re: Running an effective Creator run...

Personal update. I've probably easily done 20+ Creator missions since the last time I posted in this thread. I hardly ever get splattered on the Furious Sentry single pull anymore. Some things I'm doing now (that I wasn't yet doing at the beginning) is that I now use a (bandoliered-configuration) shield in my secondary slot during the pull. I also activate my Shield of Notes AA (level 1). I'm not entirely sure which one of these two actions is making the biggest difference, but it's very true that I'm hardly in danger of dying on this pull anymore. I do, however, still occasionally pull (individually) the two statues at the "T" intersection if I judge my groups dps to be high enough for this not to slow us down much. It's just a question of efficiency, really. If the groups dps is high enough to cut these two mobs down in very short order, I see no reason not to drastically improve my survivability odds by not having to deal with them on the Furious Sentry single-pull. :)

Same here, I just don't use my Shield of Notes AA. I bandolier my shield. First I use my Eye of Zomm to go in, open doors and target my friend the Furious. Then click off zom, have the doors opened all nice for me. Cast HOS, bellow as its half done and he comes through as planned, then yada yada yada, furious singled.

Man, if SS Helm was clickable from inventory, I'd use it at least 100 times more often than I do now, but, since it isn't, and I'm too impatient to take the time to equip it, mine gets underutilized and collects dust in my pack. That is a great idea to use it there though. :)

Re: Running an effective Creator run...

Something I haven't noticed being mentioned much is group positioning... I leave my group down before the garden's first door, or maybe up the ramp before the second puma spawn. Before I make the pull, or attempt it, I take a mob to the group and then run to the T intersection. Cast my zomm helm, get the eye in there, doors open, Furious targeted, and then the rest of the process. Shield of Notes is a good idea, I just never really see the need for it, I don't take much damage when doing this. Generally 80% or so, depending on caster's and my luck. Lowest I got before dying was 4%, which was scary cause I kept getting nuked for 2-3k, and Veeshan with VOTS on didn't help me. Also, I always let my group know what I'm going to do so they know to stay back, and if I get low on health or whatever that I might die, etc. Generally they don't mind since clearing the mobs before him would take longer then me taking 2-3 tries on it.

The question I have for ya bud is how fast can you do Creator missions now? 20 minutes? 30 minutes? Silly El Gimpo Bardo wants to know. Someone on Fennin Ro mentioned this strategy to me and said it could be done. I have not had an opportunity to try it but at least now I know where they've seen it! RAR! Razs, don't try to pull him all the way to the entrance, kill him in the hallway. Its a long hallway, mez is your friend on the runpast for this, but I really suggest you kill the puma. I seem to remember puma being too high for charm when I tried it, but could be mistaken :) For pulling Furious single, there is a B**d C**b method, of course, thats if there was a B**d C**b.
