I noticed on 7th Hammer server that the prices for the Metallic drake scales and glowing hides went up a lot in bazaar. Before DOD came out they were about 12800 per on my server and now I cant seem to find one below 34000.
As more ppl top out aa's on smithing or whatnot and salvage, along with getting higher on skills, there are more ppl selling the grandmaster stuff. So I see the demand increasing along with the prices of the components.
I think the drop rate of these items has not changed but the price change is because by far, since less ppl are doing DON missions that the supply has seriously diminished. There used to be a steady supply of pick up groups to join in Lavastorm and now the rule is to bring or form your own group. For a while there everybody was hanging out in BBlock or Wcom doin monster missions but no so much for the last couple of weeks.
I have a few more spider parts to get before I finish my GM quest for human-qeynos smithing quest.
Oh, and the finished GM breastplates go for about 300,000 in our bazaar. I was thinking that the high price reflects that you only get a stack of 20 parts to make of each type and then your done. I havent gotten that far yet to confirm this.
