I heard some players saying today that monks are on a different damage table than other mele's, this got me to thinking, how many different damage tables are there and which one are bards on then? Elson

bards are on the lowest if it makes ya feel any better hehe

There used to be three damage tables: Monks, other-melees, hybrids (ok, maybe another one or two for priests/casters, but nobody ever cared enough to find out). There was a revamp during Velious (or was it Kunark?), not sure how many there are now, but it wouldn't surprise me to find everyone on a different table.

I would seriously doubt that bards are on the same dmg table as warriors. when warriors use a compatible 17/20 wpn like I do, then we each have the same strength due to the muram song maxing at 365, and the only difference is atk, they do much more dmg per swing than I do.
