Hey guys! Young bard twink here! Well lvl 67 to be precise... Anyway.....i soloed this twink from 33 to 67 and used to charmkite PoN for a few lvls ..... i thought id relive those old days yesterday and took off to PoN and pulled me a few spiders and trees from around GY.... To my big surprise tho i didnt gain xp from the mobs anymore :| I did it the good old way.....charm a mob... have 10+ mobs beat it to a pulp (3%) ....break charm....dot the last 3% and get xp .... well without the xp this time :cry: Is it nerfed or am i retarded? :cry:

You know, I thought about launching into a tirade and making up a bunch of ways their nerfing bards, but decided against it. Actually, that thread I linked is a little on the old side. The devs have said that because of the new "war" changes required for Devastation to function correctly that this swarm kiting side effect is here to stay. From now on if you want to swarm you need to break charm above 20%. Another thing they've announced for the next patch, and this is sure to piss some people off, because people were exploiting the different factions in devastation, Fading Memories is being changed to only remove you from the aggro list of [b]up to six[/b] NPCs at a time. If you would still be on ANY aggro list after a Fade, the fade won't wipe you from any aggro lists though. Oh yeah, and bellow now has a 0.1 second cast time so it can't be used while a song is running.

Just tried again in PoN....and as yesterday....yardtrash give no xp when charmkited and killed at low %.....and here comes the fun part.....wolves/stalkers: 2 out of 6 gave me xp.....hobgoblins and nettling wraiths all gave me xp when charmkiting as low as 0%.....wooot..... Means i can lvl my Blade of the night sky:)

Is that for real? Please tell me you are jokin around. If not its like they are actually TRYING to make bards quit the game.

So why don't they just take away our ability to sing while running while they're at it. They obviously don't want anyone soloing anymore and it's obviously no point getting to lvl 63 and spending 6aa's. Guess I'll have to just get used to gating when I over aggro.

yeah bards suffered serious nerfage over the last year.... :| its sad really....was once a good soloclass....clearing pov etc....

what!?!?! i aint even close to that lvl but i was looking forward to fading memories :o cause echo has really packed together mobs and that would help for unwanted aggros :(
