I am a level 53 bard on FV - i have read the guide on how to swarm kite, i just need to get a clicky invs item now. However where is the best place to learn how to do this? I saw one suggestion of Gulf of Gunthak, however you can run over people camping the zone in. Any suggestions on where to learn how to do this?

Well, the best places where there are social aggro mobs, almost flat ground (hills make it a bit harder, but still doable), mobs that don't cast (can do it with casters, but not for learning) and of course charmable mobs. Places to look at PoN is a good place to do it at. PoD was a good place. Not sure if it still is due to the fact I think the spiders roam most of the zone now and they can snare you (BAD spidey!). Opps, stop listing places. Just realized you said you are 53. PoN and PoD require you to need the lvl 64 charm to do it there. Pre-64 charm I would suggest Natimbi. Warning they did make a few changes since I was here swarming and some mobs summon. Do some tests first. Other than than I can't really remember any good places. I did some swarming in WL on the giants, but the trees get in the way and charm always broke fast. Guess you could always practice in EW until you get the hang of it. don't think you would get much exp there though.

I would try it everywhere you can. When I got my 27 charm I started swarmkiting in iceclad and tried it pretty much everywhere possible. Places I've swarmkited pretty good(that I can remember): Overthere PoNightmare PoDisease Gunthak Dulak Iceclad East Wastes Skyfire Burning Woods Dawnshroud Plane of nightmare nightstalkers is where you wanna be at your level, but they will hit pretty hard and resist a fair amount. Start out with just 3 or so. Work your way up to the full spawn there. Also you'll run into alot of mobs in these zones that are too high to charm. You can use them tho by making your pet attack them (avoid mobs that summon obviously). Once they are low enough hp, chant them down. Hope that info helps

Nadox is another fun spot at 53, you'll want run 3 though. I've also heard good things about the bloodfields, but I haven't tried it personally.

hmm - Nadox is not too far off - i have run 3 - i will give it a try. Hit level 55 last night - so i will camp a tiny cloak tomorrow night and try swarming this weekend.

Nadox around the firepit and the mobs in the big rooms around the firepit are all charmable with the lvl 39 song. Most of the time I have to loop around and run the swarm over the pet once to get them to stick.

When I was in my low 50s I would charm kite in Timorus Deep. I started with the spriocs and moved to the raptor islands on the far side of the zone a bit later. Be safe, Acapello

You dont need to have the 64 charm. some of the rats in PoN are lvl 52 or higher but you can just kill them off by siccing your pet on them. Admittedly I have only been there like 1 day in the last year or longer, but I dont remember the spiders being so bad either. They do roam places I dont remember them being. I was getting the worm bits for the alt entry to CoD and I got a few spiders, but on the beach where I used to do the flies I didnt see any spiders. PoN is great because nothing roams in the area where the werewolves are and I believe they are all level 51.

PoN definitely does not require the 64 charm to do the werewolves. They are all right at the level limit of the previous charm song. I spent many many hours swarming there for good xp and diamond drops.
