    Solo in PoFire

I've heard that the (chant) kiting in Fire is good. 1. Is that true? 2. Where is the best place to kite? 3. Any other tips/suggestions ?? T.I.A.

it's "good" I don't like it but you might. It's still popular with many other kiters, and can be a good way to meet people. The most popular place to kite is at the tables. As for tips and suggestions, be familiar with the layout of fire, I guess, are you?

Familiar? Well... just got the flag last nite, so I'd say... no... not yet. :-/ Is it better than say, Tipt or Vxed, for soloing? The mobs there tend to run, which is a pain. They dont run in Forgotten Halls, but *yawn* Still not as good as a group, but a whole lot better than LFG.

The mobs don't run or summon, are a cinch to single pull (no tactic needed at all), but after you get the pattern down, you'll probably find it pretty boring. I'd say do tables, but bring any druid, necro, ranger, wizard, mage friends you might have to make it more interesting, plus you'll have a nice lev from the the necro or ranger/druid to make kiting a little easier.

The problem with chant kiting in fire is mobs are virtually immune to fire dot, so make sure you get fufils diminishing dirge from ldon (or ancient:chaos chant if you have access to it) to get your kill rate up, or else it's horrendously slow. It might be worthwhile to pull several and get assonance on them and since single pulls are a cinch and u dont need fade mana, toss ddd at them too.

And there's plenty room to kite doubles inside 2nd castle if the tables camp is taken. Angstlich's Assonance is a plus but it's resisted a bit too. Fufil's gets resisted sometimes too but you can often have 5 dots going on them. Switching between two mobs every retwist saves a little time if you're there for a while. Plenty mobs for two camps (tables and inside ground floor) most of the time, too.

I used to bring a charmable from field 1 and charm him for kites there. In a group it was really sick dps. Alone I had to wait for aggro to be built up to send the pet in, which hit in the 600's iirc. And for easier charming I'd send him against a chanter mob so he'd be tashed then break charm, fade and get my tashed pet back. I'm not sure it was worth the hassle when I was solo but groups absolutely loved it.
