I was wondering if anybody could enlighten me on the current use of our 2.5k mana ae with 1.5k dmg. Anybody? Thnx

I suppose it could be used to help clear trash during a raid. But it doesn't have much use, I think. I once used it to pull a bunch of spawns off of a cleric and then kite them. Of course, you have to know the spawns are gonna be there and be ready with the song, otherwise, it may be too late.

I used it a couple times then forgot about it pretty much. I suppose you could use it to try to get summoned faster - if that's something you're trying to do - or to speed up the time it takes to test a kite on a mob to see if it summons. Mostly it's just a good place to sink a couple thousand plat.

On raids, if enough bards about, then it's been fun to alternate the odd large nuke in. Only if resists are being brought down as a resist will hurt. But if you've got time to rotate round a few songs, are clicking other things to break the melody, and everything else covered, then it can be a bit extra when burn is called on a mob. If you've got enough for a fade, then the rest of your mana pool is something that could of added a bit more dps.
