Don't sell yourself short Aco, you can pull anything with 15K, the problem with 15K is surviving AEs, not pulling.
Solteris is specially fun, keep both LoY cures memmed, to cure yourself from gargoyle (can cure gargoyle with one pulse if wielding a flute, you can make a boandolier for that) and spider dot (same as Demi in terms of cures), and also to cure monks. You can support the monk crew when they are FDed and gargoyled and their cure AA is down, saves them a few deaths and gets you in the pulling team fun, if you like pulling that is. You can also assist monks with mez-fade split on large pulls, just about everything is mezzable there. No reason why you shouldn't pull, run 8 > Solteris trash, but yes, they hit hard.
I started my bard from scratch as an alt, and became my main when SoE destroyed the chanter class in GoD. I was pulling Tipt, KT and RSS with LDoN armor, before I had Hurricane armor (PoP tradeskill) a Warrior friend made for me. And yes, those fire bishes in RSS would knock me down to 50% or less in one smack if tank wasn't fast with tags, so I used snare a lot to avoid it. You have the tools, use them, HPs just make you lazier. With OOC regen now, dying is no big deal for bards any more.

Manizeh.
