Yeah Barb, what is it with EF adventures on Quellious. I have way past maxed ef points, and still get 2 or three tells a session asking if I want an EF adventure, even with no LFG tag on.
I did a D Guk adventure with an all Explicit group (Time capable guild, like demigods come down to wreak havoc on the mortal plane). I started out thinking I was gonna lull/pull. Pali walked into a room and just started beating on a mob before I got them lulled. Chanter just slowed and nuked. So I started mezzing, thinking chanter was an idiot.
By the time we hit the second room, I understood what was going on. Even the chanter could tank the mobs, ungodly AA and gear.
So I just twisted Muse, PoV, Warsong and Mana, and wandered around hitting F8 and attack.
Never felt so useless in muh life ;o) But the group loved me, said I kicked ass and and wanted me to do another one, hard this time, with em. I had to go though.
Ahh well, what was the point of this thread, oh yeah, tactics in LDoN.
The group composition determines how I pull. I almost always start out lull/singles. Sometimes though, if I see the group has good dps and is on the ball, I will just pull the whole room and cc myself or let the chanter do it. Really depends on group. A good group means you have some room for error. One bad chanter, cleric, or tank though, and you have to be on your toes the entire time.
I like it sloppy, lets me have fun.
