    Kiting Zone

Natimbi (or whatever its called) seems to be a rampant kiting zone for lower level bards (50-56ish). Has anyone seen this on their servers?

Only if you spend the extra time gathering a swarm, only like mobs are social and they are a bit too spread out for that.

    Re: Kiting Zone

When I went there I was getting 1-2% per kill in AA, at 65 most stuff cons light blue, some green and a few blues, the blues are worth up to 2% AA the light blues are worth 1% and they drop some pretty good mid level gear, 45-50ish level stuff. There are two named mobs, one is a crawfish-man name Vinidi or somethign like that who drops a nice little ring that's 3 to all stats and like 45hp and mana, there's a named undead mob too, Telia something or other, drops some nice gear but both can drop a 20hp type 7 aug that is not LORE. Very nice, you could load up on those fairly easily I'd imagine, only seen one of the augs drop though. The mobs here have FAR fewer hp than PoN mobs and seem to be comparable exp but they're spread out and there are lots of light blues making swarming at the stalkers still your best bet. BTW, I have gotten diamonds and blue diamonds from several of the mobs in the zone. There is one danger, while you're kiting around there's a pretty good change the Cragbeast Queen will spawn. She's red to me, quads for 3800+ and has an AE Mana drain. I watcher her take down a raid of 18 PoT equipped toons... they got her to about 95% health before they wiped. She pops randomly on the islands so you might kiting a little cluster of light blue mobs when suddenly she summons and kills you in 2 hits.

Actually, the cragbeast queen pops at midnight and despawns at 2. She pops near the top of the hill next to the lost souls, but on the west side. She will move a little, but stays near the top of the hill from what I have seen. Level 70 from alla. Does not see invis.

    Re: Kiting Zone

not worth it to kite in kod'taz, mobs have horrible pathing and are at best 6% aaxp. just go to fire.

Actually, even though the turtles and the stonemites are not the same species, they are social cross-species, I think. Both are indifferent and I agrod a turtle just for practics and a nearby stonemite came after me.

    Re: Kiting Zone

All of the mobs that are on the "Creatures of Taelosia" faction seem to be social within that faction, so turtles will agro with stonemites, or hynids, or restless souls, etc. I've kited here quite a bit for "filler" experience while waiting lfg. I've had a couple of good drops off of the named and also off of just ordinary mobs. The tradeable drops that are "required level 45" seem to be rare drop off of any of the main mob types and more common off of the "named." The "named" mobs are all lvl 55 and much tougher, the common types range from 43 ~ 47. Ie. the "A Fierce Cragwalker" is the "named" of that mob type, and dropped one of those types of drops. I've gotten the same type of drop off of other cragwalkers but only once. The other "named" mobs per mob type are: A Swift Scavenger - any hynid. Vimidon - A Reef Crustacean. A Fierce Cragwalker - A Turepta Cragwalker Duara Yuenki - An Entrapped Potameid Each of the types seems to have a mob specific drop, and the names drop these as common drop. There are also a couple of zone wide rare drops that are more common on the named. Good luck in the hunt.

Does anything summon here? Does anything snare? My two big concerns for kiting a zone.

    Re: Kiting Zone

This is a great zone, i love it for kiting, cept for the whole warp thing that the mobs like to do if your have Levi on. I'm still trying to get that flowing though 1 neck pice or the aura of battle neck pice, but i havent seen them drop yet and i've killed about 500 mobs there.
