Let me see if I can get this straight, please feel free to correct me. Most of it is copy and paste from various epic post. This is a fast, low down, clean cut epic 1.5 summary. All assuming you have epic 1.0. [b]Talk to Lantaric`Dar in Wakening Lands[/b] loc 416 3951. Say 'I know Baldric Slezaf'. [b]Kill mercenaries near DN and collect a cracked dragon bone[/b] Kill some normal merc then kill Excavator then kill Tarn Macklin who spawns a little bit far away. 1 groupable [b]Give bone to Lantaric[/b] [b]Get a Dragon Wing Bone, Dragon Claw Bone, and Dragon Tail Bone in DN[/b] Drop off of constructs, or ground spawns loc -179, 1604 loc 1575, 1026 loc 907, -624 [b]Turn in the 4 bones (including cracked dragon bone) to Hsagra's Shade[/b] On east side of zone. This trigger the next event [b]RAID 1.Kill name and loot blackened dragon bones[/b] Need 3-5 groups. 4 lvl 69+ Mercenary Guards spawn 3 lvl 69+ Marijakin Acolytes Spawn 3 lvl 69+ A Lumbering Zombie Spawn 1 named Vesthan lvl 69+ spawns. [b]Give bone to Lantaric[/b] [b]RAID2. Go back to DN kill Dracoliche of Hsagra and loot black orb [/b] He spawns as soon as you zone in to DN. Need 3-5 groups. [b]Kill and loot 4 crystals from theses dragons.[/b] They require 2-3 groups to kill and they can stun and AE. A Dire Panda - Stonebrunt Mountains A Dire Leech - Swamp of No Hope A Dire Griffon - North Karana A Dire Kodiak - Jagged Pine [b]Forage the 4 crystals in Skyfire [/b] I believe these are no drop. [b]Hand in the crystals to Crystal to Walthin (in Sol temple)[/b] This triggeres the next event. [b] "Cloaking figure" in Kithicor Forest will pop. Kill him and loot "note from metela" and "Rizlona’s Crest".[/b] No info on how hard this mob is. Supposedly 1 groupable. [b]Create the 8 prism by combining a crystal, an enchanter made PoP diamond, dragorn blood, and an enchanted velium bar in JC kit.[/b] The final combine is no fail. Plains Crystal - Gray Diamond of Storms (storm rider blood from BoT) Forest Crystal - Yellow Diamond of Valor (metallic liquid from PoV) Swamp Crystal - Green Diamond of Disease (bubonian blood from PoD or CoD) Mountain Crystal - White Diamond of Justice (alkaline etched stone from PoJ tunnels) Wind Crystal - Cloudy Diamond of Air (air mephit blood PoA) Fire Crystal - Red Diamond of Fire (fire mephit blood from PoF) Earth Crystal - Brown Diamond of Earth (earth mephit blood from PoE) Water Crystal - Aqua Diamond of Water (water mephit blood from PoW) [b]Combine all 8 prism in Rizlona's Crest[/b] It returns a draconic prism. [b]Turned in the "note from metala" to Vhalen Nostrolo.[/b] You get a necklace from NPC. This npc is in North Karana. [b]Find Metela in Torment and give her the necklace, then kill her. After she dies loot "sword a rusted etched bile blade"(container)[/b] She shows up as "bruised woman" in PoTorment. 2 groupable. [b]Combine the "draconic prism" in "a rusted etched bile blade"[/b] Congrats you have the epic 1.5. Which doesn't have haste, therefore you still might either have to use 1.0 with that or songblade(Time or GoD version) [image]http://www.kylosa.com/Hosting/Dtaonline/Bardepic1.5.jpg[/image] From the other post Edit: Unforunately the DN part isn't skippable because the Sol Temple NPC suppose to give you a note about the prism, but you need the dark orb in order to get this note. However people seem to argue that this note does not affect the outcome of the 2nd part of the epic. The metela event talks about this orb, if you skipped the DN part then it won't make sense for her to tell you about the orb which means it a possibility she won't trigger. As for right now, many debate on if we can or cannot skip the DN part.

Just to reflect on my own post, yes we bards have it extremely hard. Damn shame.

I'm confused... do you have to access to the elementals to get those bloods? That seems a bit odd... Wyndaria, Nameless, Maestro.

bloods are dropable u can buy them in the bazaar

Umm I had the bard in the Temple talk to me ( Walthin (sp? )) And I haven not done the DN stuff ( I handed in one of the Skyfire crystals to him and he said all that "Well done %T this is one of the 8 crystals that I need to make the prism ). ( if there is anymore that he says I am just a moron then. Just trying to see if I can skip the DN stuff BC guild aint all that up for going to DN for me hehe ). Well its not hard, if you can get vhalen necklace and loot the sword without the dark orb its fine but considering the trigger talk about trying to get your rob I m thinking the item is flagged :p

Ok. I'm a dummy. I can't even begin to figure out the second DN event. I had a sizeable raid force. We died some a bit, tethered a bit, and went to bed. Hlep Hlep!1!1 Any hints before I drag a huge force out again? Thanks.

I feel your pain about the second DN raid. Tried a lot of stuff as well. Kinu posted on another thread that you have to crowd control the blue con mions and kill the red con liches. Supposedly this will activate Vasthon, who I assume will activate hsagra's remains upon his death. Wish I could give you more info, but I am in the same boat as you. Took about 25 there, didn't make any progress, now it will be awhile before I can drag down a real guild raid force for this.

Don't leash them. As in don't aggro them and have them reset to spawn point, this will double their dps. Thats why they end up hitting for 5000 dmg, if you leash them 4 x or so. I doubt this is doable with 25 players, I d say 36 or so elem geared. 10 out of 14 are mezzable rest to be offtanked ( I think red skels to be offtanked?). If you kill a master his 2 pets poof ( 7 masters yes). Once the 7 are down vasthon become targetable then when you smoke him dracoliche spawn. There is nothing real hard in this with a bit of practice :)

I get it. Yes. And when you leash them, say, 10 times, trying to figure out the event, they hit you in the 50,000 range. Which is exciting, to say the least. I think with a Qvic+ geared raid force it could be done with 24. 4 tanks, 4 clerics, 1 bard, 3 chanters, shammy, some bsts for alternate slows, a couple druids, and then 8 or so pure dps. And it'll have to be, cause getting more than 24 for me will be a challenge. Thanks again for the infoz.

What do you mean by the term "leash"? Been playing for a while and never heard that term used before. Thanks

Leashing as in tethering? I.E you pull a mob too far and he resets to his spawn point.

im a little confused with the cloaked figure...so you hand walthin your crystals or prisims? what do you hand to cloaked figure to spawn his encounter?
