    AA boastful bellow

Ok, the AA ability boastful bellow says it inflicts damage and has the potential to interrupt spell casting. What I am wondering here is if anyone has it and can tell me how much dmg this thing does? It is a lot of AA's and I really am wondering if it is worth the time to try to get it or for me to wait until later on when im blowing aa's lol. Sorry if this is a stupid question heh

If you ever come across a mob that gates like those in Bastion of Thunder, you will come to appreciate this AA ability. Yes, it is a lot of AAs. So, if I were you I'd wait till you had gotten most of the other important abilibities IM3 etc. I use it a lot in BoT. Keyes (I have 110 AA points)

Oh, I left out I never really have paid any attention to the damage just the spell casting interruption. But I know its not a lot less than 50 or 60.

Hmm the only time ive ever seen it in action is in PvP witch it is great in. It was being used against me, but I was not noticing any dmg. I was under the asumtion that it was just a stun.

it does between 10 and 60 dam. but the pop mobs are "immune to the stun potion of this effect". u can use it in pvp or in the old world. so its more or less a fun AA. Tamilia Simpson Shadows of Doom

    Re: AA boastful bellow

Its a more than excellent skill. - It is instant-cast. - You can start a song and use BB while the song is casting, it wont interrupt your song. - It has a huge range, dont know exact number but i would estimate it between 175 and 200 range. - It has a .5 second stun that you can use on most mobs in LDoN, usefull when you see a mob starting to cast dispell, instant stun, buffs untouched. I'm going to repeat myself but the most important thing about BB is: ITS INSTANT CAST! Wherever the zone im in, LDoN, tactics, hoh, BoT, name it.. Im *always* the puller. When people dont ask it beforhand, i demand if i can pull. So when i bought this awesome AA, i made a little hotkey: /g Incoming >>> %t <<< /alt activate 199 Voila! With that simple hotkey, i nearly tripled my pulling speed in ldon. Last night, the chanter and wizard were oom after the first 20 minutes and the cleric was at 10% mana. We had to take a break, but we finished that collect in 35 minutes. So all in all.. this is obviously a pulling AA (long range, instant cast, 18 seconds refresh) and since im pulling like.. 99.99% of times.. I'd suggest to get it asap :) Erydan

    Re: AA boastful bellow

I added the /alt activate 199 to the bottom of ALL my song hotkeys /stopsong /cast 1 /alt activate 199 have 4 keys, one for each of my first 4 songs. Bellow has an 18 second refresh, rather then watch a hotkey ungrey and tap it, I automatically bellow as soon as the timer refreshes with this setup.

You can use Bellows WHILE singing. Dont need to stop song.

    Re: AA boastful bellow

/stopsong is in there because that is a 4 hotkey setup, lets me twist 4 songs with 4 taps of the keyboard rather then 8

    Re: AA boastful bellow

I just wanted to have verified that the stun portion of the bellow AA does NOT work on PoP casting mobs? How about NToV? I have only 82AA atm, working on finishing LR5, so I would like to know if I should go for my offensive AA first, then bellow, or vice versa. Please advise, and as always I thank you in advance for your responses.

    Re: AA boastful bellow

It's a level thing, actually. In general, the break point is level 60. If you hit a mob over level 60, they tend to be immune to stun. Frankly, I never really expect to interrupt anything with bellow at this level -- if it does, great but don't expect it. The value of bellow is that you can pull from longer range than any song and you can insta-click it while you are casting something else entirely while on the run. It's extremely handy, stun or no stun. I really didn't expect to be using it as much as I do.

There's also the fact that ANY giant type mobs are immune to stun. Even in Velious. Not sure if the mobs in BoT are considered giants but it's my guess that they are.

    Re: AA boastful bellow

Erydan explains it very well, it's insta cast! If you ever want to pull get it, might not use it everytime but with the new lull change it is very effective - and also nice to break that mezzed mob you have waiting down the hall in LDoN :) /traz

    Re: AA boastful bellow

I find this AA useless as i spend most of my time in PoP its easier to chain mez to stop gating than using this. Besides there a many other things you could spend it on like im3, sm3,FM ect. You could put a aug in your weapon that has 0sec stun like the ones in guk adv.

    Re: AA boastful bellow

Useless? If your sole reason for using it is to interrupt casters than yes, it is mostly useless. It is the single greatest pulling tool you will ever get. The range is 250 which is longer than ANY song we have. (When if first came out, it had NO range limit. You could hit anything in the zone that was in your target window, but they fixed that :) ) But the ability to have an Insta-Cast pulling tool just rocks! No more 3-seconds of mob walking closer to chain-agro while you wait for HOS to land. Also, you can be casting one song and click bellow while casting without interrupting. This means you can pull two mobs that aren't near each other simultaneously and that can be useful too. Seriously, I bought this because some bards here that I trust said they found it extremely useful. I was dubious, but I have never regretted having it for one instant.
